We’re excited to share news that The American College of Radiology’s (ACR) Commission on Quality and Safety and the Commission on Breast Imaging has designated the Breast Care Center at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence.
This designation is awarded only to centers that achieve accreditation by the ACR in stereotactic breast biopsy, breast ultrasound and ultrasound-guided breast biopsy, breast MRI and by the ACR or an FDA-approved state accrediting body in mammography.

When it comes to breast cancer diagnoses, any delays can be life threatening. Our state-of-the-art Breast Care Center has enabled patients to thrive by providing a welcoming and comfortable place for the most advanced breast cancer detection and diagnostic services in the region. Our goal is to significantly increase the number of patients we serve and significantly decrease wait times by providing the necessary infrastructure and equipment to screen patients faster.
